Read, [Sir] Herbert

(1893-1968) UK poet, critic and novelist whose The Green Child: A Romance (1935) can be understood either as utopian sf or as a fantasy in which a standard utopian vision – the initial South American society which the protagonist creates, then abandons – is literally absorbed into the Underworld realm where he finds surcease.
