Morgan, Chris

(1946-    ) UK writer and editor who began to publish fiction with "Clown Fish and Anemone" for Science Fiction Monthly in 1975, and whose The Shape of Futures Past: The Story of Prediction (1980), based on an idea by Michael Scott Rohan, takes a balanced view of the predictions made by sf and other writers before about 1945. His Dark Fantasies (anth 1989) assembles a strong selection of original tales. [JC]
