Working name of US writer Gene Lancour Fisher (1947-    ), whose last novel to date, The Globes of Llarum (1980), is a space opera. He began publishing with the Dirshan the God-Killer Sword-and-Sorcery sequence – The Lerios Mecca (1973), The War Machines of Kalinth (1977), Sword for the Empire (1978) and The Man-Eaters of Cascalon (1979).
