Edwards, Les

(1949-    ) UK illustrator of fantasy and horror, whose work has been used for book covers, movie posters and game packaging. LE in the early 1970s joined the agency Young Artists, with whom he created many distinctive images for paperback fantasy and horror books. He produced posters for the movies Nightbreed (1990) and The Thing (1982). He has also done two Graphic Novels based on works by Clive Barker: Son of Celluloid (graph 1991 US) and Rawhead Rex (graph 1994 US). Blood and Iron (graph 1989) collects LS's work. [RT]
