Dragonlance

Created and marketed by TSR as part of their "Advanced Dungeons & Dragons" enterprise, DragonLance is a role-playing Game that has given its name to a large set of series of tied novels. The central creators of these books have been Tracy Hickman and Margaret Weis, who work as a team. Other contributors include Nancy Varian Berberick, Mary Kirchoff, Richard A Knaak and Douglas Niles. The DragonLance Gameworld is a Fantasyland in which various fairly violent Heroic-Fantasy tales take place. [JC]
