Crowther, Peter

(1949-    ) UK writer and editor, author of several fantasy and horror stories, but best-known for his Anthologies, of which the Narrow Houses sequence – Narrow Houses (anth 1992), Touch Wood (anth 1993) and Blue Motel (anth 1994) – is of interest for its thematic concentration on various superstitions. Other anthologies include Heaven Sent: 18 Glorious Tales of the Angels (anth 1995 US; vt Heaven Sent: An Anthology of Angel Stories 1995 UK) with Martin H Greenberg and Tombs (anth 1995 US) with Edward Kramer.
