Agins, Phyllis Carol

(1947-    ) US writer whose first novel, Suisan (1992), renders in Twice-Told terms the Snow White tale from the viewpoint of the Dwarfs. Their confused and at times anguished Belatedness, and the darkness of the outcome of their ambivalent playing of the game of the Story, make Suisan into a representative Revisionist Fantasy, reminiscent at times of Donald Barthelme's Snow White (1967).
